The SMSHP Awards Committee is pleased to announce that Alison Lobkovich is the recipient of the 2018 SMSHP Resident CE Award.  We had an outpouring of worthy submissions this year!  After reviewing the materials and recommendations, we felt strongly that Dr. Lobkovich’s CE would be of great interest to the SMSHP membership.  Alison’s CE will be presented this fall at our September 12^th meeting, and is entitled “Direct Acting Oral Anticoagulant Use in Special Patient Populations”.

We would also like to thank all those nominating individuals for their time and thoughtful submissions; it means a lot when we are able to recognize our peers & trainees for excellent work.
