STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The Committee is responsible for planning, organizing and facilitating the yearly Technician CE Breakfast Seminar.  The committee advises the SMSHP board and committee members on technician related matters, and act as the liaison and point of contact for technician members.

The Committee will assist in active recruitment of new members and retaining active members.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

• Attend SMSHP board meetings.
• Assist technician members and committees to address issues related to CE credit, membership and registration.
• Arrange for qualified speakers and topics that reflect technician interests, PTCB and state CE requirements.
• Choose and schedule event venue and menu.
• Maintain accurate financial records and arrange for event funding. 
• Create promotional materials and schedule for the seminar.
• Encourage event attendance and organizational membership.
• Ensure that all ACPE required information and materials are provided to the continuing education committee.
• Ensure all materials (Powerpoint slides, CE quiz questions, event announcement and schedule) are provided to the communications committee.
• Facilitate and manage Technician CE breakfast seminar event.
