    SMSHP Board Member 2024 – 2025

Clinical Pharmacy Manager – Henry Ford St John Hospital

    Describe your day-to-day role?

“As Clinical Pharmacy Manager, I focus on enhancing clinical pharmacy services and evolving practice models. This includes integrating learners into patient care settings, ensuring safe and effective medication use, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and legal standards.

Day to day, I help manage our formulary, address drug shortages, and develop policies and procedures that support optimal medication use. One of the most fulfilling parts of my role is supporting our pharmacists, technicians, and learners—I often describe my job as “caring for the people who care for our patients.”

I also enjoy being involved in interdisciplinary quality improvement projects. I’m energized by the variety, pace, and problem-solving nature of my work, and I appreciate the opportunity to help make an impact across our system.”
