SMSHP is affiliated with the Michigan Society of Health-system Pharmacists (MSHP) and the Michigan Pharmacists Association (MPA). Our affiliation is governed by a document of agreement, which is reviewed and maintained by our Board of Directors.

MSHP (Michigan Society of Health-System Pharmacists)

SMSHP partners with MSHP as one of several recognized regional pharmacy societies within Michigan.  Correspondingly, MSHP is an affiliated chapter of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). 

• SMSHP is formally represented at MSHP with a position on their Board of Directors (typically the President-Elect). 

MPA (Michigan Pharmacists Association)

MSHP is a practice section of Michigan Pharmacists Association, supported by a Committee structure and regional societies, including SMSHP.

• SMSHP is formally represented by our House of Delegate Members to the MPA house of Delegate meetings.
